Now is the time to start thinking about your Palm Trees! Posted on by NVTree

Depending on the growth of the palm, a good time to trim can range from May, June, July. You want to always trim “after” the seed pods have come out.

Palms produce a leaf at a time, and once a full crown of leaves is achieved in a mature individual (for some palms this is just 4-5 leaves) every new leaf formed is followed by an old leaf dying. If these Palm tree fronds are yellow, brown or broken they need to be trimmed off.

Take a look at your palm tree and start to think of how to help it achieve it’s full greatness and be a beautiful addition to your yard!
